It was quite simply while scrolling through Facebook that I stumbled upon a post about Gabrielle Passelecq. The intermunicipal council, was organizing a large competition open to everyone. The concept of reviving the fantastic character of Gabrielle immediately inspired me. Very quickly, I knew how I was going to create this portrait in terms of colors and composition.

I was thrilled to learn that my painting was among the 20 works selected from over seventy artists. A few days later, when I was told I had won third place, the Public Choice Award, I couldn't believe my ears! And to think that once my painting was finished, I had hesitated for a long time before submitting my application, once again filled with doubts and uncertainty. It just goes to show, you should always believe in your dreams, even the wildest ones.
