An exhibition at the St'Artgallery in the heart of Mons, alongside sculptor Claire Kirkpatrick. We presented our audience with a vibrant fusion of these half-human, half-animal figures and my urban landscapes.

I invited Claire to join me for this exhibition as a way of thanking her. It was she, along with a group of friends, who motivated me and inspired me to exhibit my own work.

I remember explaining to her that my pieces lacked a hanging system, titles, and explanations. That I was creating them solely to decorate my home. She convinced me that my world had a place in an exhibition. That I should register for Toile Emoi 2019, which would then force me to find solutions for exhibiting my paintings.

Claire was right: with the exhibition date looming, I put myself in a bind and devised a hanging system, found names for my works, and, strangely enough, giving them titles was easier than I thought. And once I had them, the texts about my feelings and what I wanted to convey flowed naturally as well.
